• Apoio geral às atividades operacionais
• Qualquer outra tarefa necessária ao bom funcionamento da equipe

SCUBA DIVING SCOTLAND is Scotland’s largest PADI 5* IDC dive centre and one of the largest in the UK. We are currently looking for an ambitious, motivated staff member to join our team based in Glasgow.  The applicants must be able to work in the UK with a clean drivers license.  Above all else, the candidate should have the right attitude and work ethic, as well as a sociable, friendly approach.

JOB INFORMATION

– 40 hours a week, full-time, permanent position

– Annual Salary £30,160 (£14.50 per hour).  Paid monthly.

– Paid holidays – 28 days per year.

– Working a mixture of weekends, weekday and evening shifts.

– The position requires a great deal of flexibility with working hours as shifts can change weekly.

– Job role will include training as a H.U.E.T Diver (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training Diver) – All H.U.E.T Diver Training will be provided.

Eco2 Diving & Corals of Mikindani – Southern Tanzania

Job Description – Start August / September
We’re seeking a creative, motivated Dive Master or higher for a dual-role internship supporting both Eco2 Diving operations and Marketing and communications in a 50:50 split.
This position is on-site in Mikindani, Mtwara, a remote region in Southern Tanzania.

About Us

Eco2 Diving is a small, eco-conscious dive centre with:

• A growing coral restoration network through Corals of Mikindani

We are deeply committed to marine conservation, community engagement, and ethical storytelling.
As part of our team, you’ll contribute to positive environmental and social impact.

Responsibilities:

Dive Master Duties

• Support daily dive center operations and guest experience
• Participate in our coral restoration project (nursery maintenance, monitoring, out-planting)
• Assist with guiding dives (shore & boat), and eventually lead coral restoration dives
• Promote low-impact diving and responsible marine interactions

Approx. 3 dive days per week (flexible depending on bookings and conservation needs)

Marketing & Communications

• Manage and grow our online presence (Instagram, Facebook, website updates)
• Create story-driven digital content — images, videos, guest stories, restoration highlights
• Develop and implement new marketing channels & campaigns
• Assist with outreach to divers, volunteer organisations, and tour operators
• Underwater content creation with access to cameras (training provided)
• Automate marketing processes where possible

Approx. 3 office/content days per week

Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located at the southern tip of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef. Located on this coral cay is Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, an award winning eco-tourism business.

We are seeking a Coxswain/ Dive Instructor/ Marine Biologist with previous experience in water based and land activities. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of water safety protocols including operating commercial vessels, snorkelling or scuba diving.

Reporting to the Guest Activities Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in providing Guest Experiences when on island. The resort has a combination of overnight resort guests and day guests.

Skills/Qualifications required:

• Coxswain (minimum)
• PADI Dive Instructor
• Own Dive Insurance
• Dive Medical Clearance
• O2 certification
• First Aid & CPR
• Drivers Licence
• Degree in Marine Biology

The role of the Coxswain/ Dive Instructor/ Marine Biologist includes:

• Guest orientations on arrival
• Previous marine experiences: scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boats, kayaks
• Island based tours: bird watching, turtle walks, reef walking, general tours
• Guest educational presentations and ongoing interactions
• Operations of the on-island dive shop
• Conducting PADI dive courses (Open Water, Advanced and Discover Scuba dives)
• Conducting night time activities and presentations

The position is a live on island role during the 10 days you are there with meals and accommodation provided at a reduced rate in a shared accommodation facility. All staff are recruited to fly in and out via Hervey Bay Airport.

Must have ability to work unrestricted within Australia without any visa restrictions.
