Broadreach is based in Raleigh, NC and we are still looking for a few instructors to lead diving programs in Curaçao, Mexico and Bonaire.

Broadreach leads summer programs for Middle and High School students. Students are challenged to learn, build skills and become better global citizens through hands-on discovery and interaction with the world’s ecosystems and wildlife. 

Instructors mentor students and lead adventure based travel programs, while teaching core certifications and dive specialties. Instructors will assist in leading discussions about marine biology, cultural components and ecotourism. Instructors supervise students 24/7, facilitate positive group dynamics, lead games and assist students with cooking and cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

• PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification with active teaching status.
• Experience teaching diving to teens/young adults.
• Experience leading youth programs, required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching the rescue diver course is preferred.
• This program does require a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a manual or automatic transmission vehicle.

Instructors are required to attend training from June 7th to June 13th in Raleigh North Carolina. Instructors would be based in their program location throughout June and July. Specific program location is based on skills and experience. 

 Food, accommodation and flights are included as part of the contract.

What You Will Be Doing:
– Guiding Dives
– Discover Scuba Diving Experiences (Lots of them)
– Dive Site Setup
– Gear Setup, Maintenance and Cleaning
– General Maintenance and Cleaning of Lodging and Dive Locker
– Payment Tracking
– Paperwork; PADI Forms, Dive Logs, Medical Forms, Student Record Forms, etc.
– Management and Supervision of Youth and Adults
– Conducting PADI Dive Courses and Specialties
– Conducting Emergency First Response (CPR & First Aid) Courses
– Tank Inspections: Annual VIPs (if qualified)
– General Routine Dive Gear Service and Repair

What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for people that are comfortable in a busy camp environment, comfortable around youth, with good knowledge of knots, boats and radio communication. You must be in good physical fitness, able to:
– Lift 50lbs.
– Swim 800 yards
– Skin dive to 30ft.
– Walk 3 miles
– Comfortable with Dive Buoyancy

What You Need:

– 18+ Years of Age
– PADI Certified Divemaster.
– In Active Status: Renewed and Insured (We Can Assist New Pros)
– PADI EFR Certified or A Qualifying Certification from Another Organization (EFR Renewals/PADI Crossovers Available at Camp)

Wir sind ein leidenschaftliches PADI 5* IDC Center im Herzen von Zürich und lieben, was wir tun! Tauchwochenenden im Tessin, Bergseetauchen am Marmorerasee, Sonntagstauchen am Walensee, Schnuppertauchen im Freibad … wir unterrichten überall, wo es uns möglich ist.

Unser Freelance Instruktorteam besteht aus ca. 35 PADI Instruktoren und 20 Divemastern. Für die Sommersaison suchen wir jetzt DICH als Ergänzung für unser TSK Team.

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehört sowohl das selbstständige Durchführen als auch das Assistieren bei PADI Tauchkursen: von Schnupperkursen, Open Water Diver Ausbildungen bis hin zu Rescues und diversen Spezialkursen. Bei uns kannst du deiner Begeisterung fürs Tauchen nachgehen, Spass auf der Arbeit haben, und dabei Schüler aller Alterskategorien ausbilden. Du unterstützt uns ausserdem bei der Vor- und Nachbereitung der Ausrüstung und Presslufttanks für unsere Schüler und hilfst uns, das Mietmaterial in bestem Zustand zu halten und zu kontrollieren.

Wir können dir eine Sommerstelle (ab sofort, idealerweise bis Ende September / Pensum verhalndelbar) auf Stundenlohnbasis anbieten, inklusive toller Einkaufskonditionen.
