We are searching French  speaking Divemaster or instructor from May to Octomber
Greece – Crete – Iraklion
To give you a better idea of who we are: our diving center is located on a beautiful beach just 20 minutes from Heraklion. We are a smaller, specialized center focusing primarily on Discover Scuba Diving (DSD). Because our bay is naturally protected from the wind, we can start our introductory dives directly from the shore.
For experienced divers, we use our Zodiac to explore various dive spots in the area, though the core of our daily activity remains the DSD program.
We are much more than just a dive center! We offer a full range of water activities, including:
  • Water Sport Rentals: Pedalos, SUPs,kayaks etc.
  • Small Motor Boat Rentals: For guests to explore the coastline independently.
  • Sailing Trips: Based in Heraklion, we run daily trips to a nearby island for snorkeling (view our trips at SailingCrete.gr).
What we are looking for:
We need someone truly passionate about sharing the underwater world. DSDs require patience and the ability to build trust with beginners. You should also be open to variety—some days you might be an assistant on our sailing boat, learning basic sailing skills while acting as a snorkeling guide.
Terms & Schedule:
  • Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Sundays are your day OFF).
  • Hours: Start between 08:30–09:00 (depending on the program) and finish by 18:00 (including cleaning/closing).
  • Compensation: Monthly salary plus individual accommodation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Captain dive boats safely and professional
  • Assist with diver gear, tanks, and guest support

  • Maintain boats, fill tanks, and support compressor operations
  • Deliver dive briefings, safety info, and environmental education

Requirements:

  • USCG 50 Ton (or greater) Master’s License
  • Passport & authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with single-screw inboards (outboard experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Membership in a drug testing consortium (or willingness to join)
  • PADI professional certification preferred not required
