Job Description
Based in Vancouver BC, Diving Sports offers scuba and freediving courses, high-quality gear, equipment servicing, and guided dive experiences all year round.
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated sales associate to join our team at Diving Sports. This position is ideal for someone who loves diving, the ocean, and working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the shop and on the phone
- Help customers choose dive gear, accessories, and training programs
- Handle sales transactions and maintain organized records
- Assist with rental and servicing logistics
- Keep the retail area clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing
- Participate in community events, dive days, and promotions
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new dive equipment
Schedule:
40 hours/ week
Wednesday – Sunday

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail
- Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, or similar)
- Diving certification (Open Water or above) preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-motivated
- Absolute attention to detail
- Customer-orientated work ethic
- Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Able to legally work in Canada
