Position: USCG 50-Ton Captain & PADI Instructor
Location: St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

About the Role

Blue Salt Divers is hiring a full-time USCG-licensed Captain (50 Ton or higher) with a PADI Instructor certification to join our dive team in St. Croix. This is a Captain-first role with flexibility to teach and guide dives when desired.

Primary Duties (Captain)

  • Operate 30–40 ft vessels for daily dive charters and private trips

  • Ensure compliance with USCG safety standards

  • Oversee crew, briefings, and dive site coordination

  • Maintain daily logs and perform light vessel upkeep

Required

  • Valid USCG 50 Ton Near Coastal License or higher

  • PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or above

  • VHF Marine Radio Operator Permit

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. Virgin Islands

  • Available to start immediately

Preferred

  • Experience in tropical or Caribbean waters

  • Strong guest service and safety-first mindset
