Job Description

Explorer Ventures is hiring an experienced, English-speaking boat mechanic/engineer for our liveaboard SCUBA vessel. Primary duties include performing routine maintenance, system checks, and logging for all vessel components. The role also involves deck-crew responsibilities and a variety of operational and mechanical tasks, so strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Mechanical/engineering experience required
  • STCW-95/2010 basic safety certification required
  • SDI DiveMaster/Instructor preferred but not required
  • Previous liveaboard experience preferred
  • Non-smokers only
