Are you thinking about making diving more than just a hobby?

Fuerteventura Buceo is looking for a motivated and dynamic Divemaster Trainee who wants to take their first real step into the professional diving world.

We offer you the opportunity to complete your PADI Divemaster course in exchange for approximately two months of work and practical training with our dive centre.

During this time, you will become part of our team, learn how a professional dive centre operates and gain real hands-on experience in the diving industry.

And if you’re coming from outside Fuerteventura, don’t worry about finding somewhere to live: accommodation is available in our shared house during your internship. 🏠

More than just a Divemaster course

The PADI Divemaster is your first professional-level certification in diving.

For us, becoming a Divemaster is not simply about completing exercises and getting a certification. We believe that if you want to work professionally in diving, you need to learn how the job really works.

That’s exactly what we want to teach you.

During your internship, you will work alongside our team and take part in the daily operation of the dive centre.

You’ll learn how to prepare and organise diving activities, assist our dive professionals, prepare and care for equipment, help with tanks and daily logistics, welcome and look after customers and understand everything that happens behind the scenes to make a diving day run smoothly.

We operate mainly from our dive boat, Diving My Life, so you’ll also gain valuable experience in the organisation and daily operation of boat diving.

We don’t expect you to arrive as a dive professional.
