Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort is Recruiting an Assistant Dive Centre Manager

Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort and Spa is a PADI 5 Star facility based North Sulawesi, Indonesia. We are looking for a responsible and reliable Assistant Manager to join the dive team. We are a luxury 5* resort that prioritises safety and exceptional levels of service. The dive centre is a full service operation that includes Recreational, Technical, CCR and Freediving, diving and courses. 

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Instructor who speaks English, is flexible, and has proven manager/supervisor, leadership, organisational and administrative skills. Perhaps you are an experienced Instructor looking to take the next step in your career. 

You will be comfortable meeting and anticipating the needs of experienced divers with high expectations; working as a collaborative, proactive and flexible team member; and, displaying role model behaviour at all times. With the DC Management Team (DCM and Supervisors) you will lead a 25-strong team of Instructors, Divemasters, Boat Captains and Support Staff. 

We are looking for a candidate that meets the following requirements:

~Follow, and maintain in the team, strict health and safety, resort and conservation standards. We look after our team well, but in return, we expect a high degree of flexibility and the ability to put extra effort in for our guests. 

~Play a significant role in leading and organising the Dive Centre (DC). You will be an integral part of the DC management team and will work closely with the Dive Centre Manager to improve and grow the team, and ensure that adequate resources are in place to meet future work. 

-You will guide and teach divers + snorkellers, work as support crew on land and boats, upsell courses and tours, and be one of the first points of contact with guests when they checkin to the resort, or interact via email. 

~You will have a wide knowledge of underwater marine life, prioritise conservation and actively spend time with guests in between dives and in the evenings. You will play a key role in the administration of the DC and scheduling of DC staff. 

~You will have excellent spoken and written  English and be willing to relocate to Bunaken and live in shared accommodation. Meals and uniform provided. 

~Discreet Tattoos and piercings are acceptable

-Contract offered subject to successful completion of 3 months probation. 

The package includes:

~Generous monthly salary, service charge, shared tip pool, one day off per week and holiday allowance

~BPJS (health insurance), DAN Insurance and PADI fees covered

~In-house servicing on personal dive equipment
