Job Description

As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of the dive center while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be the link between guests, staff, and management, helping create a welcoming, organized, and professional environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations
  • Provide operational coverage for Base Leader, Sales Executive, and General Manager during days off or vacations
  • Participate in night dive office rotation
  • Build strong relationships through personalized guest interaction
  • Respond to guest inquiries via email, phone, WhatsApp, social media, and PADI Travel
  • Monitor and reply to TripAdvisor and Google reviews and questions in a timely, professional manner
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and escalations with care and professionalism
  • Follow up with guests using the CRM system to enhance satisfaction and retention
  • Manage merchandise inventory, including ordering and stock control
  • Oversee rental equipment (torches, dive computers, compasses) and track usage
  • Order PADI materials and ensure all required paperwork is organized and up to date
  • Ensure guest amenities are fully stocked and facilities are clean and well maintained (drink station, showers, restrooms)
  • Purchase office supplies and cleaning products as needed
  • Process tax receipts accurately and efficiently
  • Record daily sales and track expenses in QuickBooks
  • Scan, update, and maintain expense records
  • Monitor cash flow and perform end-of-day balancing

  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, or diving industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with systems like QuickBooks, CRM platforms, and booking tools is an advantage
