Roatan Divers is an award-winning dive operator based in West End, Roatan, Honduras. As a boutique dive center, we specialize in small groups, offering personalized attention, comfort, safety, and environmental responsibility. With our own docks for easy boarding, four custom-designed dive boats, and a focus on quality over quantity, we deliver a truly personal diving experience.

Our fantastic team of knowledgeable instructors and experienced captains, paired with our prime locations and access to some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean, allows us to offer first-class scuba courses and unforgettable dive excursions.

We are currently looking for a Base Leader to join our team starting January 2026.

✅ Base Leader Responsibilities

• Manage dive shop schedule for fun dives and courses
• Organize staff schedules and track days off
• Oversee instructor commissions and tips
• Welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs in the RD system
• Socialize with divers and promote a positive environment
• Upsell courses and dive packages
• Maintain and service dive gear (1st and 2nd stages, BCDs)
• Manage gear inventory and ensure top equipment standards
• Ensure all diving operations meet the highest safety and quality standards
• Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly
• Participate in the office night dive rotation
• Train instructors and freelancers in RD and PADI standards
• Coordinate logistics for south side operations
• Provide additional support to management as needed

✅ Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) or higher
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dive instructor
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Spanish is a strong plus
• Excellent people management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized under press
