We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and hands-on Dive Center Manager & Assistant Dive Center Manager to lead our PADI 5 Star dive operations at Papua Paradise Eco Resort & Gangga Divers, one of Raja Ampat’s premier eco-resorts. Brief Position Overview
As Dive Center Manager (DCM), you will work closely with the Resort Manager and with the support of the Assistant Dive center manager to run the dive operation. Being responsible for the day-to-day management of the dive centre, its team, boats, equipment, and all diving/snorkelling/land excursion activities. You will ensure smooth, safe, sustainable and profitable operations while maintaining the highest PADI standards and delivering unforgettable tailored experiences for our guests.

The selected candidate will have following requirements, personal qualities and skills:

• Minimum 3 years of professional dive industry experience, including at least 2 years in managing a busy dive operation in remote environment.
• Active PADI MSDT or OWSI with at least Nitrox and Deep specialty instructor qualification.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and people-management skills with a positive, solution-oriented problem solver attitude.
• Team builder, motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent English communication skills verbal & Written
• Used to live in remote environment and possess good local staff relation skills
• Charismatic, problem solver, good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent people/guest management skills and ensure a ‘family like’ atmosphere through socializing with guests and staff
• Flexible, openminded, pro-active, organized, responsible, go getter, used to work long hours under pressure
• A genuine passion for diving, nature, tailored guest experiences & hospitality in a remote island setting
• Able to drive business, seek for opportunities, create and maintain high-performance culture
• Genuine Interest in marine conservation and sustainability actions

Not required but are a plus:

• Experience working in Indonesia
• Multilingual
• Knowledge of fiberglass speedboats and knowledge of Yamaha 4 stroke outboard engines
• Knowledge of dive equipment maintenance, compressor operations
• Knowledge of Digital Underwater Photography/video
• Knowledge in “birding” and / or land excursions
• Experience in Coral restoration
• Freediving instructor
