Azul Komodo is a PADI 5-star IDC Dive Centre operating daily dive trips and liveaboards around Komodo National Park. We are a small professional outfit with a strong focus on habitat conservation and protection.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to take on a multi-faceted complimentary role in supportive role to the Director of Operations in all aspects of the Company’s diving operations: someone with multitasking skills to assist during this busy period and into the future as we continue to grow and develop.

Responsibilities/Attributes:

• Managing the smooth day-to-day running of the dive centre.
• Teach PADI courses and guide fun divers around the national park.
• Ensure the highest diving standards are always maintained.
• Enthuse and sell dive products to customers.
• Support and lead daily dive trips.
• Manage and maintain dive equipment and inventory.
• Have a commitment to environmental conservation, protection, and awareness.
• Manage operational logistics and provide administrative support to the office.
• Ensure all required paperwork/documents are completed.
• To be part of a small enthusiastic supportive team.
• Support the maintenance of high Health & Safety standards at all times.
• To be a role model to other members of staff and customers both in and out of the water.
• Maintain strong relationships with all dive centres, boat operators, suppliers, etc.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication at all levels.
• Be part of the Management Team with Duty Manager duties when necessary.
• This role is 50% wet/50% dry

Job Requirements:

• PADI instructor in active status, with liability insurance. (>3 years’ experience)
• Proficient in English both in speaking and writing.
• Experience of supervising or managing a team.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities and communications skills.
• Exceptionally well organised and resilient.
• Possess a good understanding of finances and budgeting.
• Ready to work in Labuan Bajo.
• Proficient in sales and managing customer contacts.
• You have integrity.

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Job: Full Time

Compensation Package: Competitive salary plus commissions, medical, six month or one year working visa as required.

Who We Are:

Located in Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia, Azul Komodo is a PADI IDC dive centre and PADI Eco Center with a passion for scuba diving and ocean conservation and protection. Scuba courses range from recreational to professional diving, offering diving courses in multiple languages with a conservation focus. We provide both daily trips and affordable safari liveaboards. We work in tandem with our sister Liveaboard Company Lotus Liveaboards Indonesia.
