Location: Taveuni, Fiji – remote island resort. NO COUPLES. One role only.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead our dive operation as the Dive Shop Manager and Lead Instructor, splitting time between land-based management and in-water guiding/instruction. • Lead certified divers and snorkelers, teach scuba courses and Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experiences, and actively promote and sell dive/snorkel courses and excursions to guests.
  • Oversee boat and engine maintenance schedules, ensure regular servicing and record-keeping, and maintain compliance with local government inspections and audits.
  • Guest experience: Coordinate with sales/front desk from booking to post-visit feedback, resolve guest issues, track daily sales and activity.
  • Team leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage instructors, DMs, and captains; run regular team briefings and safety trainings.
  • Equipment & admin: Manage equipment distribution, maintenance, inventory, student and staff records, liability releases, etc.
  • Marketing: Capture quality above- and below-water images and contribute to dive/snorkel social media and marketing.
  • Community & suppliers: Maintain supplier relationships and positive local engagement.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Six-day work week (approx. 7:00–16:00; seasonal variations).
  • Opportunity for evening “sundowners” guest time for sales of DSDs/courses.
  • Quiet, remote island environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PADI MSDT, minimum 500 logged dives.
