About Divers Cove:
Divers Cove is a high-volume, community-focused PADI 5 Star IDC Training Center dedicated to quality training, equipment, and customer service.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a PADI Divemaster or Instructor with retail experience to join our team in a hybrid role that includes retail sales, customer service, and dive training support.
Key Duties:
- Sell PADI courses and scuba equipment
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Support day-to-day dive shop operations
- Fill tanks and assist with tank maintenance (VIPs, valve service)
- Clean and maintain rental equipment
- Assist with inventory and merchandising
- Help coordinate class scheduling
Training Responsibilities:
- Divemasters assist with courses
- Instructors teach PADI programs
Requirements:
- Current PADI Divemaster or Instructor rating
- Previous retail sales experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong sales and interpersonal skills
- Passion for diving and teaching
Preferred:
- Tank inspector certification
- Equipment service experience
Compensation:
- Hourly pay + commission
- Additional teaching income opportunities
Schedule:
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Must be available weekends
- Shop operates 7 days per week
