Job Description
Seasport Divers has been offering the best scuba diving experiences in Hawaii since 1986. Our team of professional scuba diving instructors offer the safest and most fun scuba diving experience on Kauai. We are looking for a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain (50 ton minimum) to run our 48′ Pro Dive and 32′ Power Cat dive boats.
Responsibilities include:
– Preparing boat and equipment for charters
– Driving and maintaining one of two boats
– Briefing customers on boat and gear safety
– Educating customers about dive locations and Hawaii marine life
– Ensuring customer safety and comfort
– Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the boats
– Must be a good team player, leader, and communicator
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
The ideal candidate is hardworking with a passion for scuba diving and providing excellent customer service. Must have an excellent safety record. OWSI Certification and knowledge of the Hawaiian culture, ocean life, and geography of Kauai is a plus. Must have the ability to work in the USA and a valid drivers license. New employees will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits one month after their initial hiring date. All new hires subject to drug testing and background check.
